This has always been my MAJOR complaint about PDF. Plus, I don't want
to BUY yet another application to create them.
However, it's not impossible to extract an image from a pdf, just a
serious pain in the butt. Essentially, you get the zoom right so
you can see detail clearly and do screen prints to capture. You'll
need to do more than one for images that are larger than the screen
when zoomed to a usable mag. Image apps can put them together but
it is alot of work to align the pieces.
