I used to demo & sell computer music software at a swapmeet.
I used one of these old pioneers, and I'm  glad I did, because
packing up one day my partner put it on top of the car..
it fell off & the wood sides completely detached.
We gaffered it back together & it worked just fine.
Also, it fitted nicely in the pyramid of power:
MKS7, 286 computer, pioneer amp, monitor.
