Hmmm. not too sure I understand this.. this is how I worked it out..
120BPM = 2Hz
we will assume that the beat referred to in BPM = a quarter note
so 2Hz = 2 q/notes per second
din sync = 24 PPQ [on roland machines anyway]
so f=48Hz p = 20.83...ms [0.02083..seconds] [din clock]
2.5*48=120
or 2.5/0.02083..[seconds] = 120
so I'd say
2.5dinclockf=BPM
or
2.5/dinclock period[sec]=BPM
2500/dinclkper[ms] = BPM
does this make sense?
