Hi y'all
I have not found a good knob for the MiniModular. It works ok
without knobs. You "might" be better off (if you want knobs) to make
a new front panel. Knobs would get too close together on this panel.
The smallest knobs I've found for these shafts are .56" diameter.
They make small pots with 1/8" shafts, and you can get much smaller
knobs for these (like about .4") but these small pots can get VERY
expensive.
I was very 'leery' at first about the MiniModular pots. I did NOT
think I would like them without knobs... but I would not like to spend
another $200 for the better pots.
I'd be worried about adding a lot of mass (weight) to those plastic
shaft pots...
It's a cute little synth... I'd leave it alone... except for
a few extra holes here and there
I'm adding two switches between the saw and pulse jacks on each
VCO that allow you to switch which wave will be normalled to the
VCF input.
And two switches to allow the LFO to have triangee, saw up, or saw down, (as
well as pulse).
Oh yeah I've got linear glide instead of log... now I wish I had
BOTH !!!
