OT: Paint on my leather

    That depends on what kind of paint it is and what it did.  If it
soaked in, I think you are hosed.

    My experience has been that latex water based paints are the easiest
to remove.  But I have never removed any kind of paint from leather.  If
you want to experiment, I would get a very similar peice of lether and
put the same kind of paint on it.

    The only thing I can suggest you might try is the chemical stripper
you can get at your hardware store.  But I would think that all this is
going to do is cause the paint to soak into the leather even more.
