Mine 4 channel one cost me about 30quid to build.

this is the big plus, I made my 4 channel midi>cv fit in MY modular...
not another damn box floating around!

agreed, tyhis IS too much, again, I could mod the software in my 4channel
midi-CV and get 4 channel polyphony easily enough..
I may have a go at doing a newer midi>CV with channel selection button
and mode selection (mono/poly).

Nope, I still have to disagree,
your single channel midi>cv could very easily be converted to 4 channel,
another mux/S&H and a quick re-write of the software and you're done.

How many channels/modes do you want?
If you get a DAC,mux, S&H setup correctly the rest can be done
with software and a couple of switchs.
Want me to have a go at desiging one one for you when Ive got my
latest revision of OS for my monowave done?
