Sorry to hear about your misfortunes. I've used the Rees unit with many
synths without problem (although I should probably add that all of them are
V/Octave rather than V/Hz). So far I've used the following:
Fenix modular
Tomg's excellent Mad Mouse
Roland SH-101
Roland SH-09
For the money I'm really pleased with the Rees unit.
