fun with trigger-sequencers

dear folks,
just some notes on fun stuff I've found out: I've made this simple sequencer
from a 4017; I found out that a small relais will close when the note's
turned up: now I'm putting these relais everywhere! Great fun: you can make
audio-gates, for weird stuttering effects say, or an effects-send, I put an
extra pot across my 101's filter with a relais, etc...anywhere where there's
a button or a switch, it can be replaced (bridged) by a relais. This allows
you to use/synchronise all kinds of weird gear, toys, etc... Now this may be
old hat to some maybe, I don't know. What I'd like to know is: anyone
interested in a device like this? I'm going to build a whole bunch of them.
Let me know what you think....
Thanks,
Danny B.
