Im no tube expert (eric you here still) but I beleive that incorrectly
matched
impedence on the output stage is about the worst thing you can do to a tube
amp.
Im almost SURE a remember reading that this will cause oscillations and
possibly
output transformer being melted.
Eric would be the man to get the diffinative answer from.
