high freq vco

    I don't have a data sheet in front of me either, but I tried these once.
As I recall, the tuning range was pretty narrow, but I am not sure.  It seemed
like a little more than an octave, but I am pretty sure it wasn't much more
than a decade.

    I was using 74S124's.  The problem I had with them was that you really
could only use one oscilator.  They had a very definate problem with syncing to
each other when their frequencies got close to each other., and they didn't
even have to be that close.

    These are memories from 25 years ago, take them with a grain of salt.
