It took a little digging through my archives, but I found some old
data sheets.
XR2207:
10:1 sweep 1%
100:1 3%
1000:1 5%
It was even worse than I remember.
8038 is specced at 0.2% linearity
XR2206
10:1 sweep 2%
1000:1 8%
Pretty awful.
XR2209
10:1 sweep 1%
1000:1 5%
Other interesting things I found when going through this old file
was a page from an old cramer catalog. A sprague DUAL PNP matched
transistor was only $1.13 (100, delta Vbe 10mV) back then. Pretty
awful, all things considered.
Also, and probably of much more interest, a document titled:
Accutronics, A Hammond Corporation Company, Geneva Illinois 60134,
Reverberation and its application.
This document is 24 pages long. Lots of diagrams, circuits, and
advice. I wish I had a scanner. This would be something to post.
The next document is titled:
Accutronics, The World Leader in Electronic Reverberation.
This document is a little strange. The first 5 pages are data
sheets from Accutronics, the next page is from Electronotes #60, form
an article titled Electronic Music Studio Hardware by W. M. Hartmann
where he talks about reverb strings. I am not sure what this is doing
in there. I suspect somebody else gave this document to me because I
never subscribed to Electronotes. This is followed by another
accutronics article about home stereo reverberation, and then several
pages of misc reverb information. Somebody must have just stapled
together a bunch of stuff.
And finally, I found some data sheets for the MN3011, MN3005,
MN3101. Have no idea where these came from, since I never used BBD
devices.
If anybody is interested in any of this "stuff", I will see what I
can do about getting it scanned and posted.
