Analog Sequencer/Sampler?

Maybe the Elector / Doepfer & Assall sampler will do.
I would not recommend this as a first project.
This besides the fact that it uses CEM 3320 & CEM 3340 which are hard to
get.

It is a digital 8 bit sampler, but with no computer involved.
Well you can hook up a C64 as midi interface/storage medium/sound editor,
this however is strictly optional.

The system is modular and can be used in combination with any (modular)
analog synth.
The modules are:
1) Interface
This is the audio digitizer card, you need only one of these.

2) Memory card
This is the sample playback card,
CV controlled and complete with build in VCA and VCF.
The sample memory is a generous 32KB.
You can add as many as you like for more voices or longer sample time.

3) Loop card
Need one for every memory card if you want to loop the sample in the card.
You can easily mod this one to work without the Computer control card.

4) Computer control unit
This one is only needed to integrate a computer (C64) in the system.

If you want envelope generators or LFOs, you have to add modules from
elsewhere .

For more information try the book; Sound-Sampler,
published by; Elector Verlag GmbH, 5100 Aachen,
ISBN 3-921608-44-9

Or try to contact Doepfer (the company).

Hope this helps,
Theo
