hahaha a mad freiend of mine once had a neighbour that took to playing
thrash metal
at full volume on his REALLY expense NAD audio system at 3am.

My friend (known as moose) was a bit of a nutter but very bright when it
came
to electronics and such..
So one day he went up to ask him to turn it down, he got the useual grunt
and door
slam treatment.. But he made a note of where abouts in the room the amp was
located.
The music carried on, only he turned up the bass. moose had had enough!

Hurrying down stairs he waited about 20-30 mins and then opened his
microwave
(told you he wasa nutter) took out the magnetron , but kept the door
closed!, he
very carefully placed the magnetron (vent facing up) on a pile of books
ontop of the
wardrobe which he had moved to roughly the position of the amp...
the turn on his microwave, full power for 5 mins...

What happened next was interesting,
nothing for the first 10 seconds, the a gradually a very high pitched squeel
could be herd
I guess the guy upstairs couldnt hear it. the all of sudden it got REALLY
loud (concorde
had nothing on this volume he says) then deadly quiet fell upon the house...
followed by a frenzy of footsteps and thumping of something upstairs. moose
re-assembled his
microwave and layed down for a quiet night in bed.

To this day the guy upstairs couldnt figure out why it died...
