Hi, I have an S-900 sampler and my diskdrive is broken. Someone send me this
message and I would like if it's possible replace the drive like this.

1. get hold of a floppy drive for a PC, DD or HD* doesn't really matter.
2. Make sure there are at least 2 sets of jumpers on it, usually marked DS
and
DC/RY. Brand new drives usually do not have these jumpers, ask the shop
if
they have some old ones in the back, or nick one from your PC and install
a
new drive in the PC.
3. Set DS to DS0 (move from DS1). This sets the drive ID, so that the
sampler
can address it properly
4. Set DC/RY to RY (selects pin 34 to send Ready signal, changed from "disk
change")
5. open the S900, remove the power supply, remove the old floppy drive,
install
the new drive, reattach the powersupply
6. You have now repaired your S900!

Somebody has another idea???

Thank you!
