Hohoum! This was an interesting note. While it may not be the solution to all
our problems (No way, Jose!) it is yeat another hint.

Well, good idea, but how about avoiding/reducing the trouble at first and then
see to it that we protect the circuit. If we can make it really unlikely by
propper setup/trimming I think I prefer that than just adding protection which
is really nothing else than papering over the problem.
