Analog Sequencer/Sampler?

Hey

Just out of curiousity:  Are there plans for a (simple) analog sampler and 
sequencer (can be seperate modules) on the internet?  Possibly one with CV or 
MIDI imputs/outputs respectivly?  I know that computer sequencers/modern 
samplers are better, but I want something I can get my feet wet with/possibly 
use live to make simple basslines, etc.
