the early alesis reverbs had some design oddities/.. like only 1 d/a for 2 
channels/ multiplexed.. might be worth a try replacing the 4053 multiplexer, 
or the d/a.. also, the actual reverb chip itself sometimes blows up in the 
microverb series, dont know if it happens in the midiverb too??
