Also ot but amusing:
Every time I pass under a high voltage transmission line
on my cycle, I get a zap from the inside of my leg to
the saddle tube.
The line has to be hanging quite low, the worst case was in France
where a line was reconstructed and an auxilary very low
line on wooden posts was installed...

Seems to depend on clothes, too. With leg warmers more trouble then
without.

I guess this is capacitive coupling, the tyres are rubber,
the saddle is synthetic something..
