Yes he is. His name is Herman Gillis, and he lives somewhere around a place
called 'Testelt'. This is right in the middle of where I study (Leuven) and
my hometown (Diest). I called him last year to hear if I could do an
endwork
project for him. Only thing he had was something that converts images into
music. Another student made this in C, I could do it in Java. The software
should take still or moving images as input source, and have audio as
output. An complex way of making organized noise or something.
But I rather did something more hardware oriëntated, and less abstract. I
never regret choosing the MIDI CV. Really interesting, and Sherman would
have never given the help you guys gave me. (He told me on the phone. I
could do the thing, but he didn't have any time to help me out....) There
are students at my school that are making another project for him, but I
don't know what they are doing.

I've got a whole bag of catalogues... So I didn't miss alot. Cool. But you
have been lucky talking to people that really knew what they were talking
about...
Bye
