A question for MIDI freaks.

Does the running status get updated if a system common message (song
position, song select?)  is received?
And the same for sysEx?

And another thing about the S&H calculations. I'm REALLY stupid. The time to
send a new value to the DAC is NOT 80µs, but 8µs. Such stupid mistakes are
really telling me that I should sleep more and work less....
