Op-amps

first off, many thanks for all the reponsnes.....

On the issue of an op-amp(or whatever) primer, I for one would find such very 
useful. While someone knowing little about a subject at hand will probably not 
find a highly technical discussion of the subject useful, it would be hihgly 
beneficial for that someone to be able to glean a certain amount of in-depth 
understanding. We're designing and building (or trying to, anyway) synthesizers, 
not writing tabloid articles.
