Well, I have not built it, so I cannot really comment on that. A friend has
done it, for school at the time. We had a great music teacher in my hometown
Feuchtwangen, a big Beatles fan, and as far as I know he paid for the
components and my friend built it. But it wasn't very sucessful, und shortly
after that the school bought a Roland Juno 6.
But my point wasn't the result of building, but the fact that I was
frightened
away from serious building for some time. Others (like you and like my
friend)
were more adventurous - you can take this as a compliment.
