I'm not an old timer, but I'll try anyway.
Vcc indicates for the voltage at the collector compared with ground.
Vee, Vss and Vdd: about the same.
Vce is used for voltage between collector and emittor and so on...
Hope this helps... (And hope it's true too... 8-)
