This is an entire can of worms in itself, but Acrobat compresses 
graphics pretty well, so that's not really a problem. Just watch out 
for the automatic downsampling (I keep that turned off). Another nice 
thing about pdf files is that they don't need a wrapper to be 
transferred electronically, whereas it's usually a good idea to 
archive other file types just to be safe (paranoid experience 
talking).

Really convenient. Another advantage of Acrobat is that it keeps your 
text pretty, both on-screen and printed. Makes you like a pro.

Put thumbnails and simple (i.e., small) line drawings on the page, 
download the pdf.
