Graham is a brilliant guy no doubt.
But wouldn't David Cockerell be the one who deserves the "master" title ?
Any idea what he's doing nowadays ?>>

For that matter, Jim Cooper is really most deserving of any praise one might
rush to bestow upon Tom Oberheim, since Cooper was the engineer who actually
designed almost everything they made, from their first phase shifter (the
Maestro Phaser), to the SEM, up to the OBxa. After he left the company
(around 1982), Marcus Ryle and Michel Diodic designed evrything else they
brought out (OB8, Xpander, etc). Tom was always more of a project manager
than a designer. For some reason, though, Tom has never publically given
Cooper the credit he really deserves, and Cooper is too much of a gentleman
to publicly dispute any of Oberheim's claims.
