Thanks for the kudos Paul - and I've had some private mail as well on this.


The engine is workable - it started as a project a couple of years ago 
"just cause". It's all in C, so it's fast, but it's only portable at the 
source level.

There are some issues to bringing it online with a new dataset, but nothing 
that's impossible to manage.
