Rick,

I'm almost an electronics graduate (couple of months left), and I haven't designed
anything for the list yet, although over the summer I will make a page on my final
year project (an ASM1 with patches configurable by midi). My point is that such 'pro'
conversations are interesting to people like me (just as I like reading text books),
besides which the conversations aren't really the problem, its the designs being
accesable on the web in the first place. As you know this is the problem with the
internet, and not just in electronics related pages (take mp3 for instance). There
are good arguments for and against publishing on the web. At the end of the day if
its on the web, it has to be considered as open source, otherwise little pop ups with
lawyer firms will be the next thing we see!

Don't make certain topics elitist, share and share alike, you never know who'll
answer your question.
