Hi Michael n' all..

I haven't seen any non-commercial projects revolving around the SID. There
is the
<a href="http://www.sidstation.com">sid station</a>, but it's a pricey
commercial box.

The best place that I've seen for technical info on the SID is
<a href="http://stud1.tuwien.ac.at/%7Ee9426444/sidpage.html">this guy's page</
a>

Regarding availability, the sid is no longer manufactured, but they're still
pretty easy to get, at least in my experience. Where I am (ABQ, nm, USA),
you can't swing a dead cat around your head in a thrift store w/o hitting a
C64 or C128. To that end, I purchased a C64 for $5 with the intention of
doing some DIY sid projects. If I get anything going, I'll post to the
list...

Hope this helps!

Derek
