The original Buchla 292 used two of the Vactec VTL2C3 in the TO-5 can.
The Music Easel version used the VTL5C3 in the plastic package
which is readily available from Allied Electronics a division of Avnet.
I did not originally intend my remark to be a small minded as
it looks in retrospect. I had aimed it at Juergen specifically
with a smiley. The thought behind it was to stimulate
experimentation since any of the Vactrols will do something
in a filter circuit and you may find a better model by experimenting.
He also stated he has the original schematics and presumably
knows the original model numbers used.
