What would kill CEM's?

A few years back I bought a UPS/filter that will run all my gear and
computer for 20 min or so, and I'll say I'll never plug my stuff into
the wall without somthing similar again!
	My old mirages('old',forgot who I was talking to...)would crash on
thier own all the time before, computer glitches etc, not anymore. And
now with more homemade and kit stuff I will not chance it...
