I posted this a while back. I have a java applet that allows
manipulation
of a visual waveform based on NURBS (non-uniform rational bsplines).
It can mimic most traditional synth waveforms and morph between them.
I doubt it could be implemented with analog circuitry, but someday
RSN, I plan on a realtime audio implementation. Might be fun to
output MIDI CC messages as well.
