I'm currently building one of PAiA's Theremax kits and I'm making 
my own case from solid cherry side panels and a cherry veneer 
plywood top. Bottom will be generic 3/8" ply with a female mic 
flange mounted on it so I can use a mic stand as a base.

Will have to see what the wood looks like when it's all lacquered 
and buffed out....
