I know this is April Fools Day, but lest anybody get confused by the facts: 
The Marshall Time Modulator was an all-electronic analog delay device. The 
garden-hose-in-a-box was the Cooper Time Cube & it was American, marketed by 
UREI. And it IS the sort of thing expected from the British. <g>
