Yamaha GX1

Hi,

The GX-1 is an interesting beast, but it's built around
encapsulated circuit modules, not unlike an old ARP 2600.
The modules are virtually discrete versions of the IG-chips
found in CS-series synths, it seems. Heaven knows what's
inside, though -- no info is given in the service manual.

Question: Anyone familiar with the Yamaha SY-1 or SY-2?
Are those based on potted submodules as well?
