I was looking for a processor that would sync audio to midi. I invested in a Pioneer EFX-500. Supposedly this machine can calculate time code off of the music input and send midi information to control a sequencer or drum machine. So I tried it with my Jomox X-base09 drum machine, no luck, then my 909, cakewalk, cubase vst, Still no luck, so I wrote Pioneer and got the lamest excuse. The unit does not send start stop messeges. So you have to set your sequencer or drum machine as a slave and then trigger it on its own. Its my understanding that when something is a slave it need a start stop command via midi. Is there any program or sequencer that will recieve time clock and still be able to start manually. To check the specs on this machine here is the page. www.pioneerprodj.com I also have talked to redsound of england has anybody used any of there products. www.redsound.com

Thank
