Akai VX600 instrument input

Hi all,

Does anyone have any information about the 10-pin "instrument" input on the
back of the Akai VX600, like pin layout and what kind of signals (0-15V ?)
are expected by the VX600 ?
VX600 schematics would (ofcourse) be very nice as well.
I 'd like to use this input to control sound parameters with a joystick.
All i know is that this input was inteded to be used with the Akai EW11000
or EV11000 wind instrument but i don't know anything about those either.
Or should i just forget it ...
