I was thinking along those lines too, or use LDR's or other light-sensitive
cells and a lamp behind the person in front of the cell. Or use a giant
"LASER" if you feel very wicked and would like to take over the World.

Theremin - anyone familiar with Kraftwerk's "Airwaves" on the Radioactivity 
album? I always wonder if that's a theremin too, although I've never seen
Kraftwerk listed as using or having used a Theremin ever. The lyrics of the
track (Airwaves) are good for a Theremin track too:

	When airwaves swing
	Distant voices sing
