Digital oscillators (with two Dream's SAM9707 or similar
chips with 4 mono outputs/chip and some sample RAM for
waves, also longer samples could be used for
drum loops etc.). Analog VCFs (two LM13700s for 24db/oct and 12db/oct
switchable filter CA3080 for VC Q), analog EGs (also VC with CA3080's),
VCAs and panners (x8). PICs (with 10bit A/D's) for control (reading
pots, storing patches to EEPROM, controlling the Dream chips and
MIDI/CV, own PIC for LFO's).
All SMD, made in Taiwan/Korea/China.
Each voice on one board, starting from 2-voice expandable to
8 voice channels just by adding boards. Even with two-voice config
multiple DCO's (polyphonic), possible to use Dream DSP filter and FX
routines (SAM 9707 has 8 input channels for I2S ADC's,
cheap CS5331's could be used for low cost).
