Oberheim Xpander Problem

Hello,

after I've replaced the backup battery of my Xpander following problem occurs.
When I switch on the Xpander the display shows "Reset Memory? (Doesn't affect
patches)". The first time after replacing the battery this seems ok to me. But
the problem is that this message shows up every time I switch on my Xpander
after it was off for about 10-15 minutes. And it *does* affect my patches, they
are lost. The battery is well and is neatly connected. I'm suspecting that I've
made a mistake during connecting the voice board and the processor board with
the short cable (two veins). Does anybody know what is going on with my Xpander?
Does anybody know how to connect the cable I've mentioned?

I would be obliged if someone could help me fixing my Xpander.
