Hi Michael and all,

One reason. The switch signal comes from the ex-or/counter circuitry
which runs off 0 and +5V. They are therefore powered off the same rails.
You could use transistors to convert to +15V and run the 4066 off 15V,
but you would get more nasty spikes and RFI. IMHO, I cannot see any
advantage in running a CV higher than +5V, except for the better R(on)
you get at higher supplies, but I don't feel this was an issue either.
As it happens, I am using 74HC4066 but they can go up to 16V, unlike the
rest of the 74HC series.

It has been included. Its the reset pin on the counter. The hardest sync
you can get:-)
