Speaking of PCBs...

What sort of etchant-resist methods do you guys use? I made my first
etched circuit board on Sunday using a laser printout on the backing of a
sheet of labels. Most of it transferred okay, but some traces tore off
while i was removing the backing and I had to use a permanent marker to
fill in the holes. Of course, after etching (using some ferric chloride I
bought from Radio Shack four years ago... never got around to trying it :)
I found ten more broken traces and one short (marker was too thick), so I
just kinda soldered wires around them.

I figure something like a UV-sensitive PCB would be infinitely better for
laser printout type things, but I've never seen anyone do this before.

Sorry if this is a bit off-topic, but you are all probably much more
experienced than I am in this.
