ODP: Document it---Dang it!

These things happen to me if the circuit is only 1 week old (wire
wrap). What the hell is this yellow wire for? And why did I snip the
grey one off?
And what was the calculation I did a week ago?
Therefore I bought a book, empty, no print.
I write everything into this book, circuits, calculations, ideas,
stock quotes...
So I have at least a chance to dig it out...
If the circuit is finished, I should document it again, a clean version.
I learned that vector graphics may be cool, but tends to make problems
when sampled into pixel graphics (alias). The internet works with pixel
graphics, however (gif, jpeg). So better use pixel graphics right from
the start. You know what, I'm returning to STAD on my ATARI.
(this is NO joke)

:::Sounds like the story of my life.
:::I thought, and I did remember every piece of circuit of my polysynth,

:::from - it wasn't on the schemo!.

::: I thought I would pass a long a helpful hint, from a sort of old
:::timer to you young sprats. Document those D.I.Y. projects. Otherwise,
:::you will be sorry. I (finally) have started the process of restoring my
:::first polyphonic synth I built about 20 years ago. Dang if I can figure
:::out what some of the boards are supposed to do. It is probably a little
:::easier now that we have computer cad and such, but I wish I had made
:::better sketches. It seems that I must of thought at the time that there
:::was no way I would forget how that one worked. WRONG!
