ODP: Document it---Dang it!

Sounds like the story of my life.
I thought, and I did remember every piece of circuit of my polysynth,
but when I wanted lately to make a simple mod, it took me whole day
to figure out where the tracks go and where in hell 'this' transistor came
from - it wasn't on the schemo!.
And old drawings become yellow and turn into pieces after viewing them
100s of times...

Roman (not that old, anyway)

I thought I would pass a long a helpful hint, from a sort of old
timer to you young sprats. Document those D.I.Y. projects. Otherwise,
you will be sorry. I (finally) have started the process of restoring my
first polyphonic synth I built about 20 years ago. Dang if I can figure
out what some of the boards are supposed to do. It is probably a little
easier now that we have computer cad and such, but I wish I had made
better sketches. It seems that I must of thought at the time that there
was no way I would forget how that one worked. WRONG!

Well, I'll figure somehow. Don't let this happen to you.

    Getting Old.........-Jim
