Hi Walter, the short answer is no. Unless you know exactly what you are
doing you will more likely than not end up with a partally-dead or dead 8000
....sorry. If you have a pc and need an editor best thing you can do for your 
8000 is try...

This very nice editor is shareware $25. Gives you all the knobs and switches
you could want....on screen anyway. There are a few hundred , maybe
thousand patches in those archive files. Some will rattle your brain. The 8000 
is one of my faves....;)  I keep expecting that UK-Mag (FM) to screw up the
second hand market by naming this and the esq...I guess you can't get a
cz-101 in the UK for less than 200.00UK these days. Just guessing....
