* What kind of off-the shelf opamps are used as summing amps in some of
the
more high-end mixing consoles? (such as Neve, SSL, Harrison, Amek, etc
Soundcraft (not Spirit) uses a differential input front end, made from a
discrete diff pair with a 5532 in the forward and feedback paths. They
probably use a different op-amp now... current consumption's a bit on
the high side.
Neve, I think, did the same, but used an LM394 and a 5534, with the
signal from the diff pair fed into the offset pins of the 5534.
