With triangle you get a complete pulse wave during each half of the 
cycle. The two pulses have opposite duty cycles, so they run together 
to form a single pulse with twice the period (and once again the same 
as the triangle). With typical phase relationships between the saw 
and triangle waves, this pulse wave will be out of phase with the one 
created with the saw wave. Adding the two together should produce an 
interesting (if nothing else) staircase.
