Local expert

Hello all! I'm just a youngin' in high school, and my school has this
interesting little thing for seniors which they give such an original
title to... Senior project. Now of course, I naturally picked an idea
dealing with synths. My ideas were to build one from scratch, repair a
synth, or build one from a kit(PAiA Fatman probably). But, one of the
hooks to this project is that we have to have a "community consultant"
that basicly is some one who has experience in the field, etc, etc. They
suggest some one in the area, so it's easier to work with and get papers
signed and such. I originally had thought about using my uncle who lives
in Minneapolis, but then he's now on tour with a theater caravan, and I
was wondering if anyone knows of some one that might fit the bill in the
Omaha, NE/Council Bluffs, IA area. Any help would be well appreciated.
