As of Oct 1. Techam is now RadioShack.com. The local store moved a
good bit of RS stock in. Complete with a RS national-parts order counter.
Like all good RS employees the guys over there just nod their heads and
smile when questioned.

I got a chance to look at the echo-kit the chips are MN31071 and MN30071
or something like that. I was reading through the bag..looks like they
could
be newer versions of the 3101/3007 combination $20 bucks isn't too bad but
I just bought a new (to me) house and .....anyway maybe next month. The
preamp IC looks like another Japanese chip. Might be ok but I don't think
they are digital and probably not really "echo" but more reverb in nature.

On a completely different note. I saw where National lost money again last
quarter.. That's 2 years of millions going in the bucket. How much longer
can they last, even with government protection? If you are really fond of a
National only part it might be a good idea to put a few back.
