Flat Toy Keyboard

Just a thought for folks on the list who like to hack toy keyboards.
I was in Toys 'r' Us the other day (a very big US toy store) and saw a
flat two octave keyboard, like on the EDP Wasp or Electro-Harmonix
Mini-Synthesizer. The keyboard was actually a nice size and played
about as well -- no glissando from note-to-note though. It had some
kind of Tarzan movie logo, but that was away from the keys and
could easily be removed either with a saw if you are really hacking
it to pieces or probably even sandpaper or paint thinner if you
wanted to save as much plastic as possible. About $14.99, as I recall.
The flat keyboard was never a really great idea, but it looks very
cool. Someone must be mass producing these. I saw a red one later
at a music store with a Santa Claus picture where Tarzan had been.
Wait until Jan 1st: $5.99 each. :-)
