Here in Belgium it WAS about 811,-BF (times 30 for $ ????)

and where can I find them (purchase)?

At Roland they 're sold out !!! Probably they're still available at other
Roland service centers!

Yeah, ask for working
rids!!!:-(
Sometimes the voicing chip doesn't work completly anymore (especially on second hand markets!!)and results in a bad (or not) working envelope ,no resonance, etc... for that voice!!!

>PS: The 80017A is the VCA/VCF Correct? I was told by the guy i bought

Yep, the 80017a is a voicing chip (VCF/VCA)! Mostly a broken 80017A results in "leaking" sound while no key is pressed (could be adjustment too), no resonance, no tracking, but I've never had one that was completly broken and wouldn't give any sound.
It always resulted that the DCO chip was broken and sometimes even in a bad working opamp/multiplexer control (=> for adding the CV to the right voice/oscillator).

Maybe you should check that first before replacing any device!

Greetings to all
